what does “Kukula” mean?
Kukula means “growing” in Chichewa, an old language of the Bantu family, spoken in the central and southern parts of Africa.
Kukula aims to implement projects that contribute to the development of the communities with which it cooperates. It promotes virtuous growth models and sustainable development founded upon the individual, the community and the environment.
Kukula imagines a world in which each individual actively contributes to the sustainable development of an inclusive society in which the environment, the economy and social justice complement each other such that local communities are not only encouraged to take part in the change, but indeed become its main drivers.
